School Introduction

Taipei Municipal Songshan High School

Taipei Municipal Songshan High School, established in 1958, was formerly named Taipei Municipal Songshan Junior High School. In August 1968, as Taiwan’s nine-year compulsory education policy was implemented, it was officially renamed as the abovementioned. After two years of preparation, it started to recruit students aged from 15 to 18 years. It is a coeducational school for grades 9 through 12, with the total enrolment of around 2,150 students.

The rate of college admission of the graduates has maintained a consistent growth. On average, about 70% of the students are admitted to renowned universities in Taiwan annually with one-third of them enrolling in the top-ranking universities.
